MIMEsweeper for SMTP 5.+ provides three different types
of 'Scenario' for integrating with anti-virus (AV) tools. These are:
1. (Type 1) The Content Scanner Scenario to integrate with the AV tool
2. (Type 2) A MIMEsweeper Scenario for the anti-virus tool (wrapper) to
link via an API interface
3. (Type 3) A Virus Manager Scenario to call a command line or executable
AV tool
*For optimum performance Type 1 or 2 should be used
Each AV product will only work with a specific type (or types) of scenario,
depending on how the integration was designed.
